How much does a website cost?

A website will vary in price depending on a number of factors, such as the features it includes, the amount of content to be included, the time spent developing the site, and so on.

With that said, we can accurately estimate the overall cost based on what you want your website to do using our instant estimate calculator.

Do you provide domain name registration?

We are not a domain name registrar, but we can arrange a domain name for you if you don’t have one yet.

Generally, we encourage clients to register a domain name as soon as possible, as you wouldn’t want to miss out on securing your ideal domain name. If you don’t have one yet and would like to know how to get one, or which registrar to get one through, then get in touch and we’ll help you with that.

Do you provide web hosting?

We sure do! We partner with leading web hosting companies to bring our clients the best in hosting services in terms of reliability, features, and value for money. We also believe in being flexible, so if you prefer to stick with your existing web host (if you have one), then that’s no problem; we can usually work with any host, provided that they provide all the features your website may require.

When you request an instant estimate, there is a point in which you’ll be asked to select a web hosting option for your website. You can elect to use your own web host (if you have one already), or you can have us arrange web hosting on your behalf.

Will my website be found in Google?

Absolutely! It goes without saying that a great-looking website is no good if no-one is visiting it.

We place a lot of emphasis on helping our clients achieve a maximum return on investment, so having a website that ranks well is a vital part of the project.

Using a set of recommended best practices, we’re able to effectively boost your ranking in Google by optimising the content on your website.  This is known as “organic SEO“. We dedicate a lot of hours to fine-tuning the content on your website so that the keywords your prospects are using when searching will result in more traffic to your website.

We’ll go over some important points throughout the planning and development of your site to ensure this area gets the attention it deserves.

What after sales service do you provide?

We’ll provide you with friendly and comprehensive support long after your website is launched.

Whether you require help with some of the basics (e.g. updating a web page, adding an image, etc.) or the more advanced tasks (e.g. installing a new plugin in WordPress), we’re always on hand to help you.

Contact us if you have any questions about support or maintenance.

What’s involved in getting a website?

The whole web design process is very simple with us. Here’s what’s involved:-

  1. Get an estimate — Effortlessly find out how much a new website will cost using our instant estimate calculator and avoid the hassle of time-consuming consultations.
  2. Planning — Upon acceptance of our quote/estimate, we’ll get you to complete an online design brief.  The brief is designed to help us gather lots of really useful information from you about your business.
  3. Content creation — With the planning underway, we’ll ask you to supply us with any content that you’ve prepared for your website. We’ll also supply you with lots of useful tips/tricks on preparing the content in the best possible way.
  4. Design & development — With all your content ready to go, we’ll begin designing and developing your website. During this vital part of the process, we’ll supply you with live previews of your website so you can monitor its progress and make revisions where necessary.
  5. Go live! — This is the best part. After signing-off on any revisions, your new website will go through some final testing and optimisation, then we’ll make it “go live” so you can start doing business online.

We work with clients from all over New Zealand and although we’re physically based in Auckland, we can work with you no matter where you are.  As noted in the first point above, we’ve designed our processes to eliminate the need for often costly or time-consuming consultations and it’s a process that works effectively for both parties.

How long does it take to get a website?

A typical website may take anywhere between 3 – 6 weeks to complete. However, we’ve designed websites in the space of a few days, and we’ve also built elaborate websites that have taken several months to complete.

The fact is, each project varies in terms of complexity and scale, so we’ll give you an indication of the expected time frame when we provide you with a quote/estimate. If you’re working to a strict deadline, then we’ll do our best to meet your requirements and launch your website by a specified date.

The best way to avoid unnecessary delays is to have all of your content (images, text, etc.) ready and well-prepared in advance of us starting the website. If you’re still only considering a website at this point, then now is the perfect time to start writing your content.

What is responsive web design?

Responsive web design (or mobile-friendly web design) is a technique that we use to make sure websites display properly on any device, no matter what size the screen happens to be. In other words, the website automatically adapts to anything from a mobile phone to a desktop computer.
